Sebastian is a prolific motion graphics designer with 16 years of professional experience, from managing in-house creative teams and day-to-day creative studio operations, to developing external client relationships, design, illustration, and art direction.

The diversity of his work reflects his constant exploration of art, nature, 3D graphics and digital animation, delivering to each project his particular aesthetics and rhythm. Sebastian’s world is composed in layers and keyframes.

Sebastian studied visual communications in Prodiseño, Caracas, and multimedia in L´ENSCI, Paris, France. After internships at HBO’s Mundo Ole, and Loquesea.com, he partnered with Alvaro Leon to found Keloide in 1999, a successful design studio based in Caracas. He then became actively involved in the Venezuelan graphic and music scene, with the multimedia collective Babylon Motorhome and his record label Pilla Records. He also participated in several art exhibitions, festivals and concerts. His experimental live-visuals work shared the stage with popular bands like Caramelos de Cianuro, Bacalao Men, and Desorden Publico. These unique background of experiences in Venezuela, Spain, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and the United States have given him a broad spectrum of cultural references and artistic styles.

His freelance commissions for Totuma Communications, Soda Films, Calalu Films, Tuqueque Producciones, and Smart Animation Studios have won BDA and ANDA prizes. Some of his advertisement and TV Branding clients include Sony Entertainment TV Latin America, HBO Latin America, AvilaTV, CNE, BBVA, Empresas Polar, CANTV, while also participating in film projects like 3 Noches, Mucha Sangre, Bigband, and Colombian Gold.
Sebastian joined Bowstring Studios in 2014, creating graphics for all types of moving image content, VFX sequences and other digital and interactive media. His experience brings a solid support to the post production team, and giving Bowstring the opportunity to develop a constant video/graphics integration pipeline.
