Beth Seriff

Senior Creative

After graduating from Tufts University with a degree in English, Beth worked in New York as an actress where she actually eked out a living performing improv, stand-up and sketch comedy. After moving to Los Angeles, Beth began writing for TV on a variety of sitcoms including “Suddenly Susan” and “That’s So Raven” (where she conceived the show’s much imitated title). She also developed original pilots (live action and animated) for the Disney Channel.

At The Story Room, Beth brings her expertise and love of storytelling as the agency’s lead writer and storytelling coach. She applies her narrative skills across digital, social, and video channels for a variety of audiences, and evolves information, concepts, and strategic objectives into powerful, compelling content. She intuitively understands the tone the client wants in their content and the emotions the consumer should feel when seeing it, and expertly conveys the exact way to communicate clients’ initiatives through content of all styles and lengths .

Beth lives in sunny, gluten-free L.A. with her bass player husband and daughter. In her free time, she obsessively watches the Food Network even though she doesn’t cook, and “House Hunters” even though she happily rents her apartment.
