RBD was a Latin-Grammy nominated Mexican pop group that gained popularity from Televisa’s teen drama series Rebelde. RBD sold over 15 million albums worldwide in four years since their formation according to EMI. The band was officially formed on November 30, 2004 and announced their separation on March 10, 2009.
